MAX14578E/MAX14578AE
Figure 3 shows D+/D- terminations for a standard USB
host/charging downstream port, an Apple charger, a
Sony charger, and a dedicated charger.
Charger-Enable Control Outputs
The MAX14578E/MAX14578AE feature digital open-drain
outputs—CE0 (MAX14578AE only), CE1, and CE2—to
control an external charger autonomously. See Table 3.
