Adjusting the On-Screen Display controls
After you have accessed a control by selecting its icon and pressing the Enter button ( ),
the control’s unique menu appears. This section provides information about the controls and
how to adjust them.
Tip: When you’re finished adjusting a control, you may need to press the Enter button ( )
to exit the control’s menu. Or, if you’re finished with the On-Screen Display, you can wait for
the window to disappear on its own.
After you finish adjusting a control, the setting is automatically saved.
Horizontal Position, Horizontal Size, Vertical Position,
and Vertical Size
Tu rn the Select/Adjust knob to set the size and position of the screen image.
Side Pincushion
Tu rn the Select/Adjust knob to bring in or expand the sides of the image, changing the shape
from convex to concave.
Trapezoid
If the image is narrower at the top than at the bottom, or vice versa, turn the Select/Adjust
knob to adjust the shape of the image.
Side Pincushion Balance
Tu rn the Select/Adjust knob to curve the sides of the image in one direction or the other.
Parallelogram
Tu rn the Select/Adjust knob to adjust the slant of the image.
Tilt
Tu rn the Select/Adjust knob to rotate the screen image.
Moire Reduction
If you notice an interfering striped pattern on your screen, you may need to adjust the Moire
control. This control is normally set to Off. To adjust the Moire control, turn the Select/Adjust
knob to select On, then press the Enter button ( ). Turn the Select/Adjust knob to adjust
the horizontal and vertical levels of moire, then press the Enter button again. To exit the
Moire Reduction menu, turn the Select/Adjust knob to select the rectangles icon, and press
the Enter button.
