iMac G5 (17-inch iSight) Take Apart — Optical Drive 52

Remove the Optical Drive

Disconnect the sensor cable from the temperature sensor on top of the optical drive.

Using a T10 torx screwdriver, remove the screw and metal ex cable mounting bracket.

Disconnect the optical drive ex cable from the logic board connector.
