Others—Select this option and enter the iChat addresses (separated by commas) of Â
the notication recipients.
4 In the Jabber ID and Password elds, enter the administrator credentials to send the
iChat message.
iChat notications work with Jabber accounts only.
The ichat address of the sender should be dierent from the address of the Podcast
Producer administrator and the submitter.
5 In the iChat message eld, enter the text of the notication message to be sent via iChat.
When Podcast Producer receives a job, it generates the properties.plist le which
contains metadata, including the Podcast Producer properties dened in Server Admin.
In the iChat notication message, you can add $$KEY$$ variables, which are replaced
by the values of these keys dened in the properties.plist le.
For example, to display the full name of the user who submitted the job (Bill James),
use $$User Full Name$$ in the iChat message. The Xgrid agent processing the job
replaces $$User Full Name$$ with Bill James.

6 To add publishing information to the iChat message, select “Display publishing
information.”
7 Click Done.
8 Choose File > Save.
Adding iTunes Podcast Directory Notications
In the Notify stage, you can add only one iTunes Podcast Directory notication. For
this notication to work, you must rst register your feeds with iTunes. When this
notication is sent to iTunes, the iTunes podcast repository syncs with your Podcast
Library as soon as possible to reect all changes. This action is asynchronous.

To add an iTunes Podcast Directory notication:
1 In Podcast Composer, go to the Notify stage (choose Stages > Notify or press
Command-6).
2 Click the Add (+) button and choose iTunes Podcast Directory.
3 Choose File > Save.
