4 To set the camera to match your computer, click OK in the dialog box that appears.

Whenever you want to check the accuracy of the camera’s clock, choose Set

Camera Date & Time from the Camera menu.

IMPORTANT

If the batteries in your QuickTake camera go dead or you remove

them and don’t replace them immediately, the camera’s clock stops. To

guarantee that the clock in the camera matches the clock on your computer,

you must connect the camera to the computer and repeat the procedure

described here.

Capturing images from the computer

You can use the camera controls on your computer to capture images.

1 Connect the camera to your computer.

For instructions, see “Connecting the Camera to Your Computer,” earlier in

this chapter.

2 Arrange the camera so it’s in a position to capture the image you want.

3 Choose Camera Controls from the Camera menu.

4 In the dialog box that appears, change any settings to suit your needs.
